Abstract


The 2020 NCVT Biochemical Testing (BCT) results provide a comprehensive evaluation of biochemical parameters used to assess the genetic purity, seed quality, and physiological performance of candidate crop varieties. The analysis focused on key biochemical markers to differentiate varietal identity, detect abnormalities, and ensure compliance with national certification standards. The results revealed distinct biochemical profiles among the tested samples, enabling accurate classification and quality assurance. These findings contribute to strengthening seed certification processes and support breeders, seed producers, and regulatory bodies in maintaining high-quality seed systems
